If you've been listening along to the podcasts you will know here at Wrestling Should be Fun we have tried to keep wrestling fun with a Fantasy Draft followed by a card announcement. Here some of the competitors give their opinion on the cards drafted by their fellow nerds.

Triple H vs Cody
Now I know why Matt has booked this and his explanation as to how the match was set up throughout the show on the podcast was great but….it’s still a Triple H main event. I’m not a fan of the guy as a wrestler and as much as Cody is one of the best in the business at selling me on his matches, I don’t think even he could get me up for this one. If he did, I think 3 minutes of watching Triple H on offence would take me out of it. I fully expect this to be one of the most popular matches in the series, but it’s just not for me,
Potential Show Stealer
Rusev vs Jeff Cobb. Big lads smacking each other. I’ve never seen Rusev outside the WWE system and I’d be intrigued to see him going at it with Cobb. This could be great.

Ken Shamrock vs Heath Slater
I mean….it’s Ken Shamrock in 2020….he looked unhinged in 1999. Heath is a sacrificial lamb here, but I for one am intrigued to see it.
Shafi
Connolly has got probably the most marmite card of the lot, I would either love it or hate it. Cody vs HHH is probably the best main event from an inbuilt storyline perspective. The Lucha Bros tag match or the Lio Rush Bandido match could be low key great.

Wut iz dis? I'd rather watch Ryan Shamrock vs AC Slater.

Charlotte vs Awesome Kong:
A heel Charlotte taking out Kong early & building up to Kong having a sick fire segment would be fun. However, Kong isn't what she was & this could go either way.

Los Federales Santos Jr vs Toru Yano
Not everyone likes Comedy wrestling, but in a live setting I love it and Santos is upper tier at what he does. I would be glued to the shenanigans these two would be getting up to throughout. Yes please.

Boneyard Match
Take what I said about Ross’s Hardy Compound match and the worry of t.v wrestling for a live crowd and add the Undertaker. One of my least favourite wrestlers. I do not think Shafi booked this one with me in mind, Hahaha

Io Shirai vs Britt Baker vs Taya Valkyrie vs Bea Priestley - Ladder Match
Multi person ladder matches always have a chance to steal the show with the crazy spots and frantic pace. Add in the ingredients Shafi has here, like the great character of Britt Baker and in my opinion his best in-ring talent Io Shirai and when the pillars have fallen and the dust has settled this is the match that we could be left talking about.
Could go one way, could go the other.
Chris Jericho vs Adam Cole
I think the crowd would be key to this one. Jericho is another man who can sell me a PPV on his matches, which never quite deliver to the same level as the build at this stage of his career. I think a hot split crowd for these two heels and this would be great to be a part of. You’d like to think these two are good enough to react to the crowd if there is a clear favorite and if they did then I think the match would be good. I’d be relying on Jericho to call this on the fly.

Undertaker vs Brodie Lee:
Undertaker is rubbish these days. I have no interested in watching him anymore.

Jericho vs Cole: These lads trying to out weasel each other would be a great spectacle.

Drew vs Tessa vs Mox vs Go: This could be a mess. It could also be a beautiful mess.

PHONE FIRMLY IN POCKET: JOHN CENA VS HIROSHI TANAHASHI - It's my dream match.
PISS BREAK: DRAGON LEE and FLAMITA vs BUSHI and EVIL - I just don't think these are two combinations I care about. As much as I love LIJ I'd say Bushi is the member I least care about of the bunch (and I say that despite him having mist in his arsenal) and I haven't seen enough of Flamita to care.
POTENTIAL SHOW STEALER: ADAM COLE VS CHRIS JERICHO - If these two find a medium between the paces they work then this could be bonkers! Any of the storytelling issues that Cole can be accused of ignoring will not happen when working Jericho. It's just whether there is enough sizzle for the internet dweebs.
COULD GO EITHER WAY: BRODIE LEE vs THE UNDERTAKER - This is a boneyard match so I'm guessing the proof is going to be in the edit. I just worry if the editor is capable of hiding Taker's flaws but I'd watch the shit out of this.
