After an eight woman tournament, we have finally reached the finals of the NXT UK Women's championship. Tonight Toni Storm or Rhea Ripley are crowned the inaugural champion. Interestingly for a match between two Australians, Emma was in the match to crown the first ever NXT women's champion. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie - oi, oi, oi.
JOE COFFEY (W/ MARK COFFEY & WOLFGANG) v SID SCALA
Interestingly, Joe Coffey sends his brother and his brother from another mother back to take this match on alone. Sid Scala arrives suited and booted... he still isn't medically cleared to compete. However, GM Johnny Saint has asked him to introduce his replacement... TYLER BATE!

Joe Coffey and his stablemates attacked Moustache Mountain a few weeks back, so this is a bit of a grudge match for Tyler Bate. I find it a bit odd that Wolfgang and Mark have not come back out?

- Bate goes for Tyler Driver '97 but Mark Coffey gets on the apron...
- Pop-up powerslam by Coffey after the distraction for 2.
- Trent Seven limps out to support Tyler - but his knee is heavily braced after the attack last week.
- Neck rope bounce lariat by Bate!
- Airplane spin! McGuinness calls it Air Dudley... brilliant.
- Wheel kick by Bate! The crowd are eating this up!
- Tyler goes for the Tyler Driver '97 and Wolfgang and Mark Coffey rush the ring.
- TYLER BATE WINS BY DQ!
- Post match we get a five man brawl until PETE DUNNE arrives to even the odds. The Scottish Kingdom bail and refuse to get back in the ring. Do BSS have their number?
LIGERO v DAN MOLONEY
- Ligero attempts a head scissors but the strength of Moloney puts a stop to that.
- Ligero attempts another - this time off the ropes with added velocity and it lands!
- Spinebuster by Moloney!
- Moloney puts Ligero in a submission and adds strikes to the ribs as he holds him in it!
- Nigel McGuinness says that Moloney's friends are in prison and he wants to be a positive role-model for them. He's currently beating up someone smaller than him...
- OUCH. Strong style chops by Moloney.
- You're just a good Sin Cara chant from the crowd hahahaha!
- Moloney goes to the middle rope but MISSES his legdrop. Not his wheelhouse...

- This was a good showpiece for Ligero after his first loss against Jordan Devlin. The crowd like him and Moloney looked decent too.
GRIZZLED YOUNG VETERANS v AMIR JORDAN & KENNY WILLIAMS
- This pits the charisma and fun of the faces against the stern faced seriousness of the heels. Should be a good one...
- If you hate Gibson shoes off chants... Nigel says we are in Birmingham, so you should put those shoes back on. RUDE.
- Gibson pulls the hair to get the advantage over Kenny Williams. Cheat!
- Springboard back elbow by Williams on Drake!
- Amir Jordan tags in, hits the hip toss and a crossbody and then bhangra dances in Drake's face. Brilliant.
- Gibson tags in and takes control with strikes and submissions. If you hate Gibson stand up...
- GYV cut the ring in half and are double teaming Jordan at will with quick tags.
- Trapped arm suplex by Gibson.
- The crowd continue to give Gibson shit. Jordan needs the tag...
- Drake misses the splash in the corner!
- Can Jordan crawl to his partner Kenny Williams?

- This served to show the combination of GYV on their debut on this brand. The crowd hated them. Success! I enjoy the team of Williams and Jordan for now as they compliment each other and they aren't doing much in the singles scene.
TONI STORM v RHEA RIPLEY - NXT UK WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
- BIG MATCH FEEL. I love the lights dimmed with spotlights for title matches in NXT.
- Ripley shoves Toni, Toni fires up with strikes and kicks.
- The hip attack connects, and Ripley powders.
- The suicide dive follows, but Toni misses and collides with the barricades, and is crying and favoring her back.
- Toni, clearly in tears tries to fight back, but gets backdropped on the apron! The kick causes her to scream and legit tell Rhea to stop. Scary stuff.
- Toni makes it back in and Ripley swarms her and whips her to the buckles. Ripley follows with kicks, and grounds her with a body scissors.
- Toni starts to fire back with rights, but Ripley cuts her off and locks on the cloverleaf.
- Toni fights and makes the ropes!
- Ripley fights off the German once, but Toni fights and hits two rolling Germans and a head butt. - Ripley gets posted, prawn hold by Toni gets 2.
- Rhea Ripley dumps Toni as she fights off Storm zero.
- Ripley slams her to the barricade, rolls her in and covers for 2.
- Toni counters riptide, her back gives out...

- RHEA RIPLEY WINS!
- WOW. Rhea Ripley is the first ever NXT UK Women's champion. They fooled us just like when putting the title on Tyler Bate back in Blackpool. How much the injury played a part in the finish, we cannot be sure. Weirdly, Ripley drops the scowls and the snarls and cries in happiness and thanks for lifting the title. I would have liked her to brush off Saint and Trips here?
