Dusty classic recap to start. I am guaranteeing that the Forgotten Sons don’t win this tournament. If they do and we remember them do they become the Remembered Sons?
Io vs Bianca is tonight
First out is Moustache Mountain.

Moustache Mountain vs The Forgotten Sons
Moustache Mountain have really got that entrance nailed down. Crowd are bloody loving it.
Nigel criticising Wesly Jannetty’s application of the cobra clutch made me chuckle. Trent and Tyler mostly in control early until a blind tag from Cutler sees him hit Trent with a vicious chop block to the knee and the Sons go after the knee. Call-back to how Mountain lost the titles to the Era. Big Strong Boy woman from When Worlds Collide and Access is in town by the sounds of it. She loves it.
Sons continue to work on Trent’s knee. Crowd are very into this.
Tyler eventually gets the hot tag and takes out both the sons before hitting a double airplane spin on both the Sons. Great strength from Tyler.
Bate misses a Standing Shooting Star press from the apron. BLOODY HELL TYLER. Lands on his feet and suplexes one son into the other. Up top Corkscrew and Cutler breaks it up. Phenomenal work from Tyler Bate there.
One legged Trent is in. Combo Tyler off the ropes into Trent Dragon Suplex. Ryker puts Cutler’s foot on then ropes. Huge dive from Tyler takes out Sons on the outside. Tyler up top and a son pushes him off and Ryker nails him on the outside. Trent goes for a Tope to take out Ryker but Cutler meets him at the ropes with a knee to the head.
Sons hit the Inverted DDT/Stomp combo and are in the final. Shit. Moustache Mountain were great in this match, but the numbers game was too much for them. Big upset there and my pick of Moustache Mountain getting the tag title shot from before Christmas which looked good is over.
Matt Riddle Interview
He is interrupted by Adam Cole. Who says Riddle doesn’t deserve a title shot. He does.
Riddle challenges Cole to meet him in the ring. Cole doesn’t look convinced at the idea.
Bianca Belair vs Io Shirai
Looking forward to this. Shayna is out on commentary. Could she interfere and cause a double DQ leading to a triple threat?
The Genius of the Sky is out first. Shayna dismisses her as a nobody from Japan. Here comes Bianca and Shayna says she’s already beaten her. I recently found out that Bianca Belair makes her own gear. Lets GO IO/EST chants. Pretty much 50/50 split.
A lot of reversals to start Io gets caught going for a headscissors to the outside and Bianca alley oops her into the ring steps. Io is bloody good. At one point she springboard onto the top rope and stood there for a second before hitting a dropkick.
Top rope frankensteiner from Io, goes for the moonsault but Bianca gets the knees up. Spear from Bianca and here comes Shayna. Taking out both of them. Kairi in but she’s caught in the clutch by Shayna. Io back and she throws Shayna out of the ring and goes to check on Kairi but Shayna is back with another clutch on Io now. Shayna leaving them all lying. 4 way. I did predict this on Feb 20th, but then backtracked.
Shayna stands tall over all 3. If they have a 4 way at Takeover I will bloody love it. The match was looking good, but was just a taster. Io especially looked great.
Recap of Keith Lee vs Dijakovic. They meet next week. Excellent
Shayna interview - No-one deserves a shot at my title. She is told she will defend against all 3 of them in a 4 way at Takeover,
Her response is to walk off.
Ricochet & Aleister Black vs DIY
I’m still expecting a Johnny turn. DIY are out in the old shirts.
Awesome Sequence from Ricochet and Johnny at the start. The counter and avoid sequence amped up. Two of the best in the world. . Ricochet and Black both then do the fakeout dive and DIY are regrouping on the ramp.
Ciampa sneaks in on Ricochet and DIY are in control working Ricochet in their corner. Ciampa taunts Black by sitting down and mocking his pose.
Ricochet catches Gargano coming in for he slingshot DDT but instead of tagging he hits Ciampa which gives Johnny the chance to recoup and hits a spinning clothesline. More quick tags from DIY before Ricochet finally hits Ciampa with the diving neck breaker causing Ciampa to DDT Johnny at the same time. Now he gets too Black. Aleister you have a lot to live up to after that Tyler Bate hot tag. It’s good finishing with the double Kevadra on both DIY members. Not quite Tyler tho.
Gargano then goes for a slingshot knee and gets met by a KNEE TO FACE! Then a brain buster but Ciampa breaks up the count. Meet in the middle on Black but Ricochet pulls Johnny out and Black knees Ciampa. Ricochet goes for a running moonsault to the floor. Johnny moves and Ricochet lands on his feet walking straight into Gargano super kick. Ciampa catches Black on the top and hits Tower of London onto the apron. Slingshot DDT. Ciampa has Ricochet held back .1-2-3 NO. KICK OUT by Black. What a sequence. Incredible action.
Garga-No escape on Black and Ciampa has bridging Fujiwara on Ricochet. Call back to title match vs Revival. Ricochet powers up and hits the Death Valley Driver on to Gargano and Black. This is great.
Gargano has hurt his knee and is on the outside. Ciampa checks on him then goes in. Ciampa and Ricochet in the ring. Just a mental striking exchange. Knees, Kicks and everything. Both are down and the crowd is own his feet. Great match. Shockingly with this talent. FIGHT FOREVER chant from Full Sail. Johnny can’t get up to tag. BLACK MASS. 630. Its over. Black and Ricochet are in the finals against the Forgotten Sons . Winners go to Takeover New York to face the War Raiders.
Candace out to check on Johnny. Tommy picks him up to help him to the back with Candace. Johnny falls at the top of the ramp.
Tommy picks him up again and goes to throw him into the screen, but Johnny was faking it and stops himself. Throws Ciampa into the screen and super kicks Ciampa in the face and ends the show to JOHNNY WRESTLING chants.
Some excellent tag team wrestling again on this show. Io and Bianca gave a taste of what is too come, Tyler and Trent had some great fire but that Main Event was outstanding. What A Match. Great ending as well, heartbreaking that it looks like we will be robbed off the conclusion due to Ciampa's injury.

A lot of established talent on this show so I'm giving it to Tyler Bate. He's already a big name and a great talent but this was outstanding. First ever dual winner of Star of the Week and the Humberto Carrillo award. Congratulations Tyler Bate.
